History Presentations
Over the years I have enjoyed doing history presentations at schools, libraries, historical societies, and museums.
I have created unique presentations for children and adults and have presented in-person and remotely. I have crafted content for small groups of students ranging anywhere from 2-15 learners, adult cohorts of around 10-30 people, or even larger groups such as 90-100 children in a school auditorium.
I have enjoyed speaking at Greenwich Country Day School, the annual Tank Weekend at the Collings Foundation Museum in Hudson, Massachusetts, the Greenwich chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and other organizations. On February 5th I will be speaking at the Pound Ridge Library on behalf of the Pound Ridge Historical Society. Stay tuned for more details and upcoming events!
Past Events:
The 5th grade students (and teachers) at our school love Mr. DiMinno's presentations! He always arrives in soldier uniforms and has excellent props, too. He tells fun and interesting stories. Mr. DiMinno covers new topics that we have not studied, as well as adds more detail to areas we have discussed in class. His enthusiasm and knowledge are engaging. He presented about the southern battles in the Revolutionary War in the fall, and we are looking forward to having him talk about the Civil War and Vicksburg this spring!

Time and again, Mr. DiMinno has helped enrich our 5th-grade American History curriculum with outstanding and engaging presentations. From playing the bugle to teaching marching commands to sharing incredible true stories from our nation's history, Mr. DiMinno does it all! We have found him so effective that we continue to look for ways to get him involved in our history instruction. I highly recommend him!
